Real Estate Investor / Guide

Best to invest in yourself first.

I get emails, direct messages, and phone calls weekly from people who are investors of some sort. From complete novice to expert.

It seems the lack of honesty is the number one issue I have in building my "team" each time I am willing to attempt an expansion.

Its rough, its hard work, and its frustrating to be honest with what you do, need, and want to only be told things that they can't, won't, or don't know how to follow through with as "No problem".

Why lie? I find that its rampant, its just as bad as trades claiming they are experts when they are not. Finding out that the things they claim to bring to the table are not facts, but "hopes and dreams". People tend to try to sell me on the idea of what they want to be, instead of what they are.

I love honesty, even if I don't like what that person is saying to me when they are being honest. I learned long ago that if I am going to sell myself as something, its better to under sell and over deliver. Not to promise the world when you dont have a  blade of grass.

Honor and integrity is the most undervalued investment in any business.
