Hate reading? Me too. Do it anyway.
I used to hate reading, I also used to be very poor.
Over the years I have learned to learn from books, even though I still very much dislike reading.
No clue how many books I have read as it wasn't something you bragged about in my circles.
I couldn't even tell you what book I read that changed my thinking on learning that way.
To be honest, it took me time to see the value in reading so it took an embarrassing amount time to realize the value in reading what you don't agree with as well.
You could say that I am a slow learner, but the lessons are beaten into me in such a way that I never forget.
Mr. Gladwell is an exceptional writer who's fact based approach would seem dull as a description, but the thorough look at all perspectives makes for insight into the working minds of those around us; and the real knowledge that has served me has been learning HOW to serve others. I cannot give you a reading list, or tell you that reading is better than audio books (I do both) but I can say that if you do not take HUGE chunks of your time to be exceptional, then you won't.
